ROMANTIC CHOCO-CUPCAKES WITH CONES

Preparation Method :

  • Combine flour, baking soda, and salt in a bowl
  • Boil water in a sauce pan, Add chocolate bar, butter and milk in bowl and place it over the sauce pan.
  • Reduce the heat and simmer until the chocolate melts ,keep stirring. Add sugar and turn off the heat.
  • Add the melted chocolate to the dry mixture.
  • Add egg and vanilla essence to it , beat the mixture together to make batter
  • Place ice-cream cones in a muffin tin and fill about ½ - ¾ full .
  • Bake it at 175 o C for 20 minutes until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Remove it from the oven and cool it for atleast 10 minutes
  • Meanwhile, prepare icing by beating the ingredients.
  • Pipe out a swirl of the icing on top of each of the choco-cup cake cone using a piping bag.
  • Decorate the cake by inserting a Stick with a small bit of personalized message .

INGREDIENTS

  • 12 flat-bottom wafer ice-cream cones
  • 250 ml milk
  • 150 grams unsweetened chocolate bar (broken into chunks)
  • 100 grams all-purpose flour
  • 100 grams sugar
  • 75 grams unsalted butter
  • 1 egg (lightly beaten)
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 pure vanilla essence

Frosting

  • 120 ml heavy cream
  • 75 grams sugar
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon cocoa powder
  • 1 muffin tin
  • Piping bag
