ROASTED ALMOND CHOCOLATE

Makes :
50 Pieces

Preparation Time :
2 hours 10 minutes

Cooking Time :
20 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Pour boiling water over the almonds for blanching and drain the water after 1- 2 minutes. Allow it to dry for 5 minutes.
  • Now toast the almonds in a preheated oven at 160 oC for 10 -12 minutes or dry roast it in a frying pan until it turns darker in colour and keep it aside.
  • Melt the chocolate in a double boiler, stir it frequently.
  • Put the entire roasted almond together in the melted chocolate and mix it well.
  • Now drop a teaspoon of it on a tray lined with wax paper / parchment paper. Repeat the same for the remaining almonds.
  • Serve it in a heart shaped bowl.

INGREDIENTS

  • 450 grams dark chocolate bar /chips
  • 500 grams almonds
  • Boiling water for blanching
