HAZELNUT MARZIPAN CANDIES

Preparation Method :

Knead together the marzipan, powdered sugar, nut liqueur, and finely chopped hazelnuts.
Dust a worktop with powdered sugar and roll out the paste on it. Cut into 1in squares or other shapes with a cookie cutter, and leave for at least 1 hour to dry.
Stir the plain and milk chocolate couverture separately in a bain-marie or basin over hot water until smooth.
Frost one half of the marzipan shapes with the plain couverture and the other half with the milk couverture, reserving some of each couverture.
Dip half of the hazelnuts in the plain chocolate couverture and place a hazelnut on each milk chocolate frosted shape.
Dip the rest of the hazelnuts in the milk chocolate couverture and place one each on the plain chocolate frosted shape.

200 grams plain marzipan
2 tablespoon powdered sugar
1 teaspoon nut liqueur
3 tablespoon toasted hazelnuts, finely chopped
85 grams plain chocolate couverture
85 grams milk chocolate couverture
Powdered sugar for dusting the worktop

To decorate

Whole hazelnuts
