FLOATING VALENTINE DESSERT

Preparation Method :

  • Blend half the quantity of strawberries/raspberries with 1 tablespoon of honey and orange peel in a blender. Refrigerate the puree until serving time.
  • To prepare the meringue: Beat egg whites and cream of tartar until soft stake is reached and then add the remaining honey and beat it again until stiff peak is formed.
  • Heat the milk in bowl for about 5 minutes and add 2 heaps of the egg and cream of tartar mixture. Cook at low temperature for 2 minutes.
  • 04Slice the remaining strawberries/raspberries and place it on serving bowl and top it up with the above prepared puree. Spread it evenly.
  • Remove the meringue from the milk and place it on the serving bowl containing strawberries with the puree
  • Garnish by placing the whole fruit at the centre
  • Place some decorated candle along the side of the dish and then serve it.

INGREDIENTS

  • 250 grams fresh strawberries/raspberries
  • 2 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon orange peel (grated)
  • 1 egg white
  • ¼ teaspoon cream of tartar
  • 250 ml milk
  • 2 whole strawberries / raspberries for garnishing
