RED HOT CHICKEN MASALA

Preparation Method :

  • Grind the soaked red chilies with onion and water to a smooth paste.
  • Heat oil, when hot add ground red chili-onion paste and ginger and garlic pastes. Fry till the onion turns golden brown.
  • Add tomatoes and fry for 5 minutes,add in chicken with salt, coriander powder and garam masala.Stir-fry for about 5 minutes.
  • Simmer to Low heat. Cover and cook till chicken is tender,add water in-between if required.
  • Garnish with fresh coriander and lemon wedges and serve with hot roti.

INGREDIENTS

  • 750 grams chicken - cut into equal pieces 
  • 2 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste
  • 2 large tomatoes - finely chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 teaspoon dhania powder 
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala powder
  • 7 tablespoon IDHAYAM Sesame oil
  • 15 -20 dried, red chilies - deseeded and soaked 
  • 2 medium sized onions
