POTATO CHICKEN

- Peel and cut potatoes into 2 pieces each. Cut onions into fine roundels.
- Clean chicken. Add curd, turmeric powder, red chili powder, garlic paste, ginger paste, coriander powder and mustard oil. Mix properly. Set aside.
- Preheat remaining oil in a large frying pan. Fry the potato pieces till golden brown over high heat. Transfer to a plate.
- In the remaining oil add dry red chilies, cumin seeds, Bay leaves and cinnamon sticks.
- After a minute add onion and fry till golden brown. Add chicken along with the marinade and cover and cook over medium heat. Stir in between.
- Add water and bring to a boil. Simmer for 5 minutes. Add garam masala. Remove from fire.

- 5 large onions
- 500 grams chicken cut into 8 pieces
- 250 ml curd
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon red chili powder
- 2 teaspoon garlic paste

- 2 teaspoon coriander powder
- 250 ml mustard oil
- 3 dry red chilies
- 2 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 3 bay leaves
- 3 sticks cinnamon
- Salt to taste
- 250 ml water
- 2 teaspoon grams masala
