Preparation Method :
- Mix all the marinade ingredients in a bowl and put the chicken in it. Mix well to coat evenly. Keep aside for 30 minutes.
- Heat the oil in a heavy bottomed pan and add in the black cumin seeds and bay leaf. Saute for a minute.
- Add the onion and fry until golden, stirring continuously . Then add in the tomato puree and stir for at least 3 minutes till the puree turns dry.
- Add the chicken and garam masala powder and stir-fry for 5 minutes, until the chicken turns brown.
- Pour in water, cover and cook on a low heat until the chicken is tender.
- Add the egg into the masala, stirring continuously, so that the egg cooks in tiny shreds. Mix well.
- Stir in the cream and the cashewnuts, simmer for 1-2 minutes and remove pan from heat. Sprinkle with coriander and serve hot with roti.

- 1 teaspoon black cumin
- 2 bay leaves
- 2 large onions - ground to a paste
- 150 grams tomato puree
- ½ teaspoon garam masala
- 2 eggs - beaten well
- 2 tablespoons thick cream
- 2 tablespoons cashewnuts - coarsely crushed
- 2 tablespoons coriander leaves - chopped
Marinade
- 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- Salt to taste
- ½ teaspoon turmeric powder
- 4 tablespoons vinegar
