MURG KAIL MIRCH

Preparation Time :

Preparation Method :

  • Heat butter on medium flame. Add grated ginger, fry on medium heat till slightly brown.
  • Add chicken, pepper and salt, fry till chicken changes colour.
  • Lower heat, cover and cook for about 15 minutes or till chicken is tender.
  • Increase heat, add lemon juice and cook till dry.
  • Heat chicken and spoon out on to the serving dish leaving the fat behind. Sprinkle coarsely pounded pepper and fresh coriander and serve.

INGREDIENTS

  • 750 grams chicken - cut into equal pieces 
  • 100 grams butter 
  • 2 tablespoons grated ginger 
  • Salt to taste
  • ¼ teaspoon freshly ground pepper 
  • 4 tablespoons lemon juice 

Garnishing

  • Some fresh coriander - chopped 
  • 4 peppercorns - coarsely powdered
