CAJUN CHICKEN

Preparation Method :

  • Combine the oil, lemon juice, oregano, thyme, paprika, garlic powder, cayenne, black pepper, cumin, and salt in a small bowl.
  • Preheat a large frying pan over medium-high heat. Coat the chicken breasts in the spice mix. Cook until blackened and cooked through, 10 minutes.
  • Preheat a small frying pan over medium-high heat. Cook the lemons, flesh side down until blackened, 2 minutes. Serve hot with the salad and lemons.

INGREDIENTS

  • 50 ml sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 2tablespoon dried oregano
  • 2 tablespoon dried thyme
  • 2 tablespoon sweet paprika
  • 2 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 6 boneless skinless chicken breast halves
  • 4 lemons, halved
  • Mixed salad greens, to serve
