Preparation Method :
- Mix all the ingredients of the marinade and marinate the chicken and keep aside for 1 hour.
- Sprinkle cornflour on the marinated chicken. Mix well. See to it that each piece is coated with cornflour.
- Deep fry the chicken on moderate heat, till crisp and golden brown. Drain and keep aside.
- Heat 2 teaspoon oil in a non stick pan.
- Reduce heat. Add dry, red chilies, soya sauce, honey tomato ketchup, red chili sauce and vinegar. Return to fire. Saute for a few seconds.
- Add the onion, capsicum and crispy fried chicken and stir-fry ensuring that each piece is coated with the sauce. Serve hot garnished with spring onions.
INGREDIENTS
- 250 grams boneless chicken - cut into bite size pieces
- ½ capsicum - cut into ½" pieces
- 1 small onion - cut into 8 pieces, optional
- 100 grams cornflour
- 2-3 dry, red chilies - broken into bits
- 1 teaspoon soya sauce
- 2 teaspoon honey
- 2 tablespoon tomato ketchup
- 1 tablespoon red chili sauce
- 1½ tablespoon vinegar
- Spring onion - for garnish
- IDHAYAM Mantra Peanut oil for frying
Marinade
- 2 small eggs
- 1½teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 2 teaspoon red chili powder or chili flakes
- 1 teaspoon aji no moto
- 1 tablespoon cornflour
- 1 tablespoon IDHAYAM Sesame oil
