SPICY CHICKEN FRITTERS

Chicken,egg and soaked bread ,seasoned with pepper,salt and paprika ,are shaped into patties and fried till golden brown. These crisp fitters are served hot with a dash of lemon juice.

Preparation Time :
20 minutes

Cooking Time :
15 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Soak the bread in the milk in a small bowl for 5 minutes. Drain well, squeezing out excess milk. Mix the chicken, soaked bread, and egg in a large bowl.
  • Season with salt, pepper, and paprika. Use your hands to shape into small round fritters. Roll in the flour.
  • Heat the oil to very hot in a large deep frying pan. Fry the fritters in batches until golden brown, about 5 minutes each batch. Drain on paper towels. Drizzle with the lemon juice and serve hot.

INGREDIENTS

  • 4 slices white sandwich bread, crusts removed
  • 100 ml milk
  • 750 grams ground (minced) chicken
  • 2 large egg, lightly beaten
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • 4 teaspoons hot paprika
  • 100 grams all-purpose (plain) flour
  • Sesame oil for frying
  • Freshly squeezed juice of ½ lemon
