KURMA (GREEN)

This curry is in green colour. If you are looking for a change, try this curry – Kurma Green. The thick and tasty gravy of this dish is a lot different from the usual curry that is always served. Try this and discover the difference!

Preparation Time :
25 minutes

Cooking Time :
45 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Grind the dry and wet masala to a paste.
  • Heat the oil in a pan and fry the sliced onions until light brown. Then add the masala and fry again until the oil separates.
  • Add in the meat & fry again - add salt and water and cook till meat becomes tender and gravy thick.
  • This curry should have a deep green color. 

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 Kilogram chicken pieces 
  • 200 grams grated coconut
  • 6 green chilies
  • 6 flakes garlic
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • 1 teaspoon haldi
  • 2 Onion - sliced
  • Salt - to taste
  • 1" Piece ginger
  • 2 tablespoon poppy seeds
  • 2 small bunch coriander leaves
  • 2 Tomato - sliced
  • 200 ml oil
