CHICKEN KOFTA CURRY

Kofta Curry is a dish with chicken meatballs. You will love the taste of the meatballs as well as the thick sauce. You will be satisfied with this dish because of its several flavouring that are rare and hard to find.

Preparation Time :
20 minutes

Cooking Time :
30 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Cut the onion, ginger, garlic and chilies finely and mix with the mince.
  • Add salt and beaten egg white, form into meat balls and set aside.
  • Mean while grind the dry masala and the coconut into fine paste. Heat oil in a pan and fry the paste till oil separates.
  • Add 500 ml water and set to boil.
  • Drop the meat balls one by one into the boiling masala taking care not to break them.
  • Cover and cook till the meat is soft.
  • Serve with cooked rice.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 kilogram raw minced chicken meat
  • 2 onions
  • 8 flakes of garlic
  • 2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon haldi
  • 200 grams grated coconut
  • 100 ml IDHAYAM sesame oil
  • 6 green chilies 
  • 2 piece ginger
  • 5 tablespoon coriander powder
  • 3 teaspoon poppy seeds
  • 2 teaspoon garam masala
  • 2 egg white
  • Salt to taste
