CHICKEN CURRY

Preparation Method :

  • Place the chicken pieces with the marinade and leave to rest for about 2-3 hours, turning occasionally.
  • Heat the oil in a pan, add the onions and fry until golden. Add the chicken and the marinade.
  • Simmer to low flame, cover and cook for about 20-22 minutes or until the chicken is tender.

INGREDIENTS

Marinade

  • 2-3 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 500 grams natural yogurt
  • 2 inch piece fresh root ginger, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric
  • 2 teaspoons ground cumin seeds
  • 1 teaspoon chilli powder
  • Pepper and salt, to taste
  • 3 tablespoons finely chopped Fresh coriander
