STIR FRIED CHICKEN WITH GINGER

Preparation Time :
20 minutes

Cooking Time :
20 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Rinse the ginger soaked in salt water, drain and squeeze.
  • Heat the oil in a frying pan over a medium heat, add garlic and ginger and stir fry until lightly browned.
  • Add the chicken with fish sauce, water and sugar and stir fry for 5 minutes.
  • Reduce heat, cover and cook for further 5 more minutes or until the chicken is cooked.
  • Stir spring onions into mixture, transfer to serving dish and garnish with coriander.
  • Serve hot with steamed rice.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 kg boneless chicken breast or thigh fillets, quartered
  • 1 tablespoon fish sauce
  • 2 tablespoon IDHAYAM Sesame oil
  • 2.5 cm piece of fresh ginger, shredded
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 4 spring onions, cut into 5cm pieces
  • Fresh coriander sprigs, to garnish
