STIR FRIED CHICKEN WITH GINGER

Preparation Method :
- Rinse the ginger soaked in salt water, drain and squeeze.
- Heat the oil in a frying pan over a medium heat, add garlic and ginger and stir fry until lightly browned.
- Add the chicken with fish sauce, water and sugar and stir fry for 5 minutes.
- Reduce heat, cover and cook for further 5 more minutes or until the chicken is cooked.
- Stir spring onions into mixture, transfer to serving dish and garnish with coriander.
- Serve hot with steamed rice.
INGREDIENTS
- 1 kg boneless chicken breast or thigh fillets, quartered
- 1 tablespoon fish sauce
- 2 tablespoon IDHAYAM Sesame oil
- 2.5 cm piece of fresh ginger, shredded
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1 tablespoon water
- Salt to taste
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 4 spring onions, cut into 5cm pieces
- Fresh coriander sprigs, to garnish
