SPICY FRIED / GRILLED CHICKEN

Cooking Time :
30 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Prick the chicken pieces with a fork.
  • Marinate the chicken in the ground spice paste for at least 4 hours.
  • Heat the oil in a frying pan; saute the chicken on high heat for 5 minutes, turning once. Lower heat, and cook covered till tender.
  • Retain some gravy, or if preferred, uncover the pan and fry the chicken until brown. Serve with grilled potatoes and tomatoes.
  • Serve with lemon wedges and a crisp salad.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 kg of Chicken, legs and thighs

Grind to a smooth paste:

  • 1 Onion, medium, chopped
  • 2 teaspoon Ginger minced
  • 10 cloves Garlic minced
  • 5 Green chillies, minced
  • ½ cup Fresh coriander leaves ,chopped
  • ¼ teaspoon Black pepper (kali mirch) powder
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds, powdered
  • 1 teaspoon Garam masala
  • 2 teaspoon Salt
  • 3 tablespoons Lemon juice
  • 50 ml Vegetable oil
