PAN FRIED CHICKEN & MUSHROOMS

1 hour 20 minutes

Cooking Time :
30 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Marinate the chicken with salt, pepper and Worcestershire sauce. Keep aside for 1 hour.
  • Heat 3 tablespoons oil in a nonstick pan. Cook the chicken pieces on moderate heat, turning sides to brown evenly.
  • Reduce flame. Cover, cook for about 15 minutes, till the chicken turns tender by adding ½ cup water.
  • Add garlic, button onions and mushrooms. Stir fry on high flame till mushrooms get done.
  • Serve as it is if you wish to keep it dry.

INGREDIENTS

  • 750 grams chicken - cut into 12 pieces
  • 50 ml Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper
  • 50 ml IDHAYAM sesame oil
  • 10 flakes garlic - crushed
  • 10 button onions (baby onions)
  • 200 grams mushroom - cut into halves
  • 1 capsicum - cut into ½" squares
  • A few almonds - blanched (soaked in hot water and peeled), for garnishing
