QUICK YOGURT AND HERB CHICKEN

Preparation Method :
- Heat the oil in a non-stick pan, add the onion and sauté for about 3-4 minutes or until brown.
- Add the ginger and garlic paste and cook for about half a minute. Add the turmeric, chilli, coriander powder and a splash of water. Cook for a minute or two.
- Adjust seasoning with chilli and salt to taste.
- Add the chicken and brown for about 2 minutes. Stir in the yogurt and simmer for about 5 minutes or until the chicken is tender.
- Add little hot water if needed. When the chicken is done toss in the gravy for 3-5 minutes or until the amount of liquid in the pan in reduced.
- Stir in the garam masala with mint and coriander leaves. Serve hot.
INGREDIENTS
- 100 grams chicken breast, skinned, trimmed and cubed
- 2 tablespoon low-fat yogurt, beaten
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 teaspoon ginger and garlic pastes
- 2 teaspoon IDHAYAM Sesame oil
- ½ teaspoon coriander powder
- A pinch of turmeric
- Red chilli powder, to taste
- Salt to taste
- ½ teaspoon garam masala
- 2 tablespoon, chopped fresh mint and coriander
