EASY CHICKEN WITH MUSTARD SEEDS

Preparation Method :
- Heat the oil in a non-stick pan and gently fry the onion until golden. Add the mustard seeds and garlic paste, and stir for about half a minute.
- Add the turmeric, chilli, coriander powder and salt, and stir for another 1 more minute.
- Add the chicken and stir fry for few minutes. Add the water, bring to the boil, cover and cook for about 10-15 minutes or until nearly done.
- Stir in the yogurt, until well incorporated. Increase the heat and toss the chicken in the gravy for 5 minutes, add more water if needed.
- Stir in the garam masala and fresh coriander and serve hot.

- 500 grams chicken joints, skinned and rinsed
- 50 ml Low-fat yogurt, beaten
- 100 ml hot water
- 1 tablespoon IDHAYAM sesame oil
- 1 small onion, sliced
- ½ teaspoon brown mustard seeds, pounded
- 1 teaspoon garlic paste
- ½ teaspoon turmeric powder
- Chilli powder, ground pepper and salt, to taste
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- ½ teaspoon garam masala
- 2 tablespoon chopped fresh coriander
- leaves and stalks
