CHICKEN YAKHNI

Preparation Time :
35 minutes

Cooking Time :
20 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Heat oil, add in bay leaf and cloves. Fry for 2 minutes.
  • Add fennel powder, dry ginger powder, crushed cardamoms and salt. Stir-fry for 3 minutes.
  • Add in the chicken, stir-fry for about 5 minutes.
  • Reduce heat, stir in the beaten curd. Stirring continuously till it boils
  • Cover and simmer on low heat till chicken is well cooked .
  • Transfer to a serving bowl and sprinkle garam masala, Serve hot.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 chicken - cut into equal pieces
  • 2 cups curd - well beaten till smooth
  • 4 teaspoons fennel powder
  • 2 teaspoon dry ginger powder
  • Salt to taste 
  • 1 cardamom - coarsely powdered 
  • 6 tablespoonsIDHAYAM sesame oil 
  • 3 bay leaf
  • 4 cloves 
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
