CHICKEN TOSSED IN BLACK PEPPER

Chicken thighs are coated with a mixture of black pepper,ginger and garlic and fried in peanut oil.Green bell peppers are added to the fried chicken and cooked until just done .Lemon juice is drizzled on top just before serving.

Preparation Time :

15 minutes

Cooking Time :

30 minutes

Preparation Method :

Add the chicken pieces to the spicy mixture and set aside.
Heat the oil in a large pan. Add the chicken and fry for about 10-12 minutes.
Reduce the heat and add the green pepper and the water to the pan.
Simmer the mixture for about 10-15 minutes, then sprinkle over the lemon juice.

INGREDIENTS

8 chicken thighs
2 tablespoon lemon juice
150 ml IDHAYAM Mantra peanut oil
150 ml water

Spicy Mixture

1½ inch fresh ginger root, finely chopped
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 green bell pepper, roughly sliced
4-6 fresh garlic cloves, crushed
