CHICKEN DELIGHT

This excellent dish is packed with great taste and you can instantly have this through following its accurate preparing and cooking procedures. Along with its seasoning, you will this dish more palatable and juicy.

Cooking Time :
45 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Heat the oil in a frying pan and sprinkle with the salt. Add the chicken pieces and cook for 15 to 20 minutes, turning several times.
  • Drain well and remove all the chicken meat from the bones.
  • Place the sweet and sour sauce in a pan and add the apricots and chicken meat.
  • Add salt and pepper to taste and bring to the boil. Cover and simmer for 10 to 15 minutes.
  • Meanwhile toast the almonds, transfer the chicken to a warmed serving dish and sprinkle with the almonds.
  • Serve with boiled rice and stir-fried vegetables.

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 tablespoon IDHAYAM Sesame oil
  • 2 teaspoon salt
  • 5 chicken pieces (around 200 grams each)
  • 600 grams sweet and sour sauce 
  • 600 grams apricot halves, drained
  • Salt and freshly ground pepper
  • 50 grams flaked almonds
