SPICY BEANS WITH COTTAGE CHEESE

Preparation Method :

  • Mix in onion, green chilli, coriander and capsico sauce with salt.
  • Shallow fry the paneer slices lightly in butter on both sides.
  • Remove the paneer slices and add the cabbage leaves. Saute for a few seconds.
  • Sprinkle chaat masala on both the sides of the paneer.
  • Spread butter on slices of toast.
  • Arrange a slice of paneer over a piece of cabbage leaf on each toast.
  • Spread some bean mixture over the paneer slice.
  • Cut each toast diagonally into two triangles. Serve.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 small onion - finely chopped
  • 1 green chili - deseeded and finely chopped
  • A few sprigs of coriander leaves - chopped
  • 6 slices of bread - toasted crisp and buttered
  • 250 grams baked beans, mashed
  • 6 thin slices of paneer 
  • 3 cabbage leaves - torn roughly into two pieces
  • ½ teaspoon chaat masala
  • A few drops capsico sauce
  • Salt to taste
