Preparation Method :
- Preheat the oven to 190°C/375°F/ Gas Mark 5.
- In a large bowl, mix together the flour, salt and yeast.
- Rub in the margarine and add the parmesan, parsley and spring onions and stir it well.
- Pour over hand-hot water and mix to form soft dough.
- Tip the dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead until smooth and elastic.
- Place in a lightly-oiled clean bowl, cover with a damp cloth and allow to rest in a warm place until it double in size.
- Knead the dough again for 5 more minutes. Divide the dough into 8 pieces and roll.
- Place the rolls on a baking sheet and then cover and allow rest for about 15-20 minutes.
- Brush with a little milk and then bake for about 15-20 minutes or until the rolls are golden.

- 500 grams strong wholemeal flour
- 50 grams grated parmesan
- 50 grams chopped fresh parsley
- 1 sachet of easy-blend dried yeast
- 3 tablespoon margarine
- 3 spring onions, sliced
- Salt, to taste
- Little milk, for brushing
