Preparation Method :
- Preheat the oven to 180°C. Butter two mini pudding basins.
- Put the butter, sugar, egg, flour, ground almonds, bicarbonate of soda, cocoa and Guinness in a mixing bowl. Beat until lump-free.
- Divide between the moulds, then bake for 20 minutes until risen and a skewer poked in comes out clean.
- Cool for 15 minutes,, then remove from the moulds and cool completely.
- Whip the cream with the icing sugar and a splash of champagne, if using, until thick.
- Spoon a dollop onto the top of each cake and dust with a touch of cocoa.

- 50 grams Butter
- 100 grams Light soft brown sugar
- 2 Eggs
- 50 grams Self-raising flour
- 50 grams Almonds, ground
- A pinch Bicarbonate of soda
- 3 tablespoon Cocoa powder
- 75 ml Guinness

- 100 ml Double cream
- 20 grams Icing sugar
- A splash Champagne
