BASIC SPONGE CAKE

Preparation Time :
20 minutes

Cooking Time :
25 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Separate the egg yolks and the whites. Beat the whites individually till stiff.
  • Beat the yellow yolk separately and mix the yellow and white.
  • Add the butter, milk to the egg mixture and mix it for 3 minutes.
  • Add the icing sugar and mix till all blend well.
  • Sieve the flour and the baking powder.
  • Add the flour, baking powder and essence to the egg mixture and mix well.
  • Preheat the oven at 180°C. Grease the pan mould and dust with flour, pour the prepared batter and bake in the oven for 25 minutes. 
  • Take it out and allow to cool. 
  • The Cake is Ready.

INGREDIENTS

  • 400 grams powder sugar
  • 250 grams flour
  • 2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 3 eggs
  • 250 ml milk
  • 200 grams butter
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla / almond essence
  • 2 pinches salt
