Preparation Method :
- Grease and dust an 8-inch cake tin.
- Sieve the flour with the baking powder.
- Beat the margarine and add the sugar gradually, until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time. Add a little refined flour on each addition of egg.
- Add the vanilla essence. Fold in the sifted flour in three or four portions. Check consistency of the batter, adding milk to get dropping consistency. Divide the mix into two.
- Use pink colour for half the mix and brown for the remaining half.
- Take an ice cream scoop and drop the cake mix in the form of marbles in the tin.
- Four marbles, two of each colour alternately. Shake the dish slightly for the batter to settle.
- Bake at 180°C for about 20 minutes.

- 3 tablespoons milk
- 100 grams unsalted butter
- 2 eggs
- ½ teaspoon vanilla essence
- A few drops of pink & brown edible colour
