Preparation Method :
- For cupcakes:
- Preheat oven at 180°C.
- Sift together flour, cocoa and baking powder and keep aside.
- Beat butter and sugar.
- Add beaten eggs and vanilla essence to this. Blend well.
- Fold in the flour mixture.
- Line muffin tray with paper cases and fill half of each case with cake batter.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until inserted needle comes out clean.
- For chocolate buttercream
- Beat all the ingredients together.
- Pipe onto cooled cupcakes.
INGREDIENTS
- 200 grams flour
- 200 grams sugar (powdered)
- 2 eggs
- 100 grams butter
- 50 grams cocoa powder
- ¼ teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon vanilla essence
For chocolate buttercream
- 100 grams butter
- 50 grams icing sugar
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
