FIG AND GORGONZOLA TARTINES

Preparation Time :
10 minutes

Cooking Time :
15 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Toast the crusty bread. Spread each piece with a little honey and sprinkle some thyme.
  • Lay a slice of gorgonzola on each and squash it down slightly.
  • Place under the grill for a couple of minutes until the cheese just starts to melt.
  • Lay the fig slices on top, sprinkle on a little salt, some black pepper and more thyme, grill once again for a couple of minutes and then drizzle on a little more honey.
  • Serve immediately.

 

INGREDIENTS

  • 10 thin slices crusty bread  
  • 5 tablespoon Honey
  • 2 teaspoon Thyme leaves
  • 10 slices Gorgonzola
  • 10 Figs ripe, sliced into 4 parts
  • Salt and black pepper a pinch each
