STRAWBERRY CURD CAKE
Love strawberries! but never had a chance to use the strawberry other than limited items like milkshake, fruit salad. We give you a recipe where you can make a strawberries based cake. Cakes are loved by all age groups. Strawberry Curd Cake can be good idea for any kind of party, family get-together and festivals.

Preparation Method :
- Base: Preheat the oven to moderate.
- Knead the shortcrust pastry dough with the egg yolks. Roll out and line a 10" springform cake tin. Prick and bake "blind" for 10 to 15 minutes.
- Don't turn off the oven.
- Filling: Beat the cheese, sugar, cornflour, lemon rind and eggs together. Whip the cream until almost stiff and fold it into the cheese mixture.
- Turn into the pastry case and bake for a further 50 to 60 minutes. Leave to cool.
- Topping: Wash and hull the strawberries and dry them on absorbent paper. Cut them into halves and arrange over the curd cake.
- Prepare the jelly according to the instructions on the pack. Place in the refrigerator and stir from time to time until half set.
- Spoon the jelly over the strawberries and place the dessert in the refrigerator until set.

- 250 grams cottage cheese
- 100 grams castor sugar
- 1 tablespoon cornflour
- grated rind of ½ lemon
- 4 eggs
- 300 grams cream
Topping
- 300 grams strawberries
- 1 packet strawberry jelly
