STEWED RHUBARB, APPLE AND PEAR SMOOTHIE

Preparation Time :

Cooking Time :

10 minutes

Preparation Method :

Place all the fruits into a saucepan with 2 tablespoons water, the lemon juice and the honey. Bring to the boil.
Simmer to low flame and cook the fruit for 5-7 minutes or until it is tender. Remove from the heat and allow it cool.
Blend all the ingredients for a minute or until smooth. Pour into a glass, drizzle a little extra honey and serve.

250 grams chopped rhubarb
1 apple, peeled, cored and chopped
1 pear, peeled, cored and chopped
½ teaspoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon honey
100 ml plain low-fat yogurt
