BANANA-COCONUT "CREAM PIE" SMOOTHIE

Preparation Time :
10 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Peel bananas and break into chunks. Place in blender container.
  • Add coconut milk, pineapple juice, vanilla, sugar, nutmeg and ice cubes.
  • Blend on HIGH until mixture is frothy and ice cubes are finely ground, about 30 seconds to 1 minute.
  • Pour into 4 glasses. Sprinkle on a little toasted coconut as a garnish.

INGREDIENTS

  • 3 Medium-size ripe bananas
  • 300 ml coconut milk, chilled (do not use coconut cream)
  • 300 ml pineapple juice, chilled
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • ⅛ teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 3 ice cubes
  • Toasted shredded sweetened coconut (optional)
