GREEN TEA CITRUS SMOOTHIE

Preparation Time :
20 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Place tea bags in heatproof cup or mug. Add boiling water. Steep tea 5 minutes. Remove and discard tea bags. Refrigerate until cold.
  • Place tea, sugar, lemon juice, lemon sorbet and 4 ice cubes in blender container. Blend on HIGH until mixture is frothy and ice cubes are finely ground, about 30 seconds to 1 minute.
  • Pour into a-pitcher. Add club soda and stir briefly to mix. Pour into 4 ice-filled glasses and garnish with a lemon wedge.

INGREDIENTS

  • 4 green tea bags
  • 200 ml boiling water
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 3 tablespoons lemon juice 
  • 200 ml frozen lemon sorbet
  • 4 ice cubes, plus extra for glasses
  • 200 ml club soda, well chilled
  • 4 lemon wedges
