- Whisk in the water and whisk for a further 2 minutes, until the sugar has dissolved completely.
- Pour in the sherry, a little at a time, and whisk after each addition.
- To serve, put several ice cubes into each of two tall glasses, pour over the lemonade and decorate the glasses with a sprig of mint or lemon balm.
