- Combine rice, rice milk ice cream substitute, rice milk, sugar, cinnamon, vanilla, salt and ice cubes in blender container.
- Blend on high until mixture is frothy and ice cubes are finely ground, about 30 seconds to 1 minute.
- Place a strainer over a pitcher. Pour the horchata through the strainer. Discard the pureed rice in the strainer. Serve immediately or chill for several hours.
INGREDIENTS
- 200 grams well-cooked rice
- 200 ml vanilla frozen rice milk ice cream substitute or 200 ml vanilla ice cream
- 400 ml rice milk or low-fat (1%) milk
- 50 grams sugar
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon vanilla
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 4 ice cubes
