BUBBLY PEACH AND MINT TEA PUNCH

Preparation Method :

  • Bring the water to a boil in a saucepan over a high heat. Remove from the heat, add the tea bags and mint leaves and leave for about 15 - 20 minutes.
  • Remove and discard the tea bags, then leave the mint leaves in the liquid until it is cool.
  • Drop the sugar in another pan, add 4 tablespoons water and stir until the sugar dissolves.
  • Bring to a boil, without stirring for 3 - 5 minutes. Remove from the heat and leave to cool completely.
  • Strain the mint-flavored liquid into a bowl. Stir in the cooled syrup, cover and chill until ready to serve.
  • Mix all the chilled ingredients together in a large punch bowl. Add the ice cubes and serve.

INGREDIENTS

  • 300 ml peach nectar, chilled
  • 1 litre ginger ale, chilled
  • 1 litre bottle soda water, chilled
  • 500 ml water
  • 2 tea bags
  • 20 grams fresh mint leaves
  • 100 grams superfine sugar
  • 150 ml good-quality lemonade, chilled
  • Ice cubes, to serve
