- Fill the lower chamber of the pot with water, until it reaches the screw or the valve (depending upon which type of pot you are using).
- Place the filter on top and add 3 tablespoons of coffee. Use a spoon to level the coffee so that it is not compressed when the pot is closed.
- Heat uncovered over low heat.
- Heat the coffee until a thin stream of coffee begins to trickle from the spout.
- Cover the pot and continue to heal, until steam escapes from the spout.
- Remove from heat, wait 3 minutes, pour into serving cups.

- 200 ml water
