RUSSIAN STYLE SOUR VEGETABLES

Preparation Method :
- Boil the apple juice together with the vinegar essence, the sugar, the cinnamon, the all spice seeds, the coriander seeds and the cloves.
 - Put the beetroot, the plums and the slices of apple into the apple vinegar and simmer to low flame for about 12-15 minutes.
 - Put the hot sour vegetables into screw- top glass jars, put the lids on and leave them at least for 8 - 10 hours.
 
INGREDIENTS
- 250 grams red beetroot, brushed, boiled, peeled and cut into pieces
 - 500 ml apple juice
 - 250 grams plums, peeled and stoned
 - 100 ml vinegar
 - 250 grams cooking apples, peeled, cored and cut into slices
 - 100 grams sugar
 - 2 tablespoon pimento seeds
 - 1-2 stick of cinnamon
 - 2 tablespoon coriander seeds
 - 3-4 cloves
 - Salt, to taste
