MARINATED CHINESE VEGETABLES

10 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Put the vegetables into a large bowl and mix them together.
  • Boil the ginger, garlic with the sugar, the vinegar, the Sambal Oelek, the oil and the soy sauce.
  • Remove from heat and allow it to cool down.
  • Pour the garlic mixture over the vegetables.
  • Marinate the Chinese vegetables at least for an hour and then serve garnished with green coriander.

INGREDIENTS

  • 350 grams soya bean sprouts, washed and drained
  • 1 red pepper, washed and cut into fine strips
  • 1 small Chinese cabbage, washed and cut into strips
  • 3-4 cloves of garlic, peeled and diced
  • 1½ tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 piece of ginger root, peeled and diced
  • 2 tablespoon vinegar
  • 1 bunch of spring onions, washed and cut into rings
  • 1 teaspoon Sambal Oelek
  • 2 tablespoon Sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoon soy sauce
  • Green coriander for garnishing
