MARINATED CHINESE VEGETABLES

Preparation Method :
- Put the vegetables into a large bowl and mix them together.
- Boil the ginger, garlic with the sugar, the vinegar, the Sambal Oelek, the oil and the soy sauce.
- Remove from heat and allow it to cool down.
- Pour the garlic mixture over the vegetables.
- Marinate the Chinese vegetables at least for an hour and then serve garnished with green coriander.
INGREDIENTS
- 350 grams soya bean sprouts, washed and drained
- 1 red pepper, washed and cut into fine strips
- 1 small Chinese cabbage, washed and cut into strips
- 3-4 cloves of garlic, peeled and diced
- 1½ tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 piece of ginger root, peeled and diced
- 2 tablespoon vinegar
- 1 bunch of spring onions, washed and cut into rings
- 1 teaspoon Sambal Oelek
- 2 tablespoon Sesame oil
- 2 tablespoon soy sauce
- Green coriander for garnishing
