VEGETARIAN SKEWERS

Preparation Method :

  • Fry the onion and the garlic in the heated oil for about 2-3 minutes.
  • Knead the tofu cubes with the grated cheese, egg and breadcrumbs. Add salt and pepper.
  • Knead the herbs into the mixture and make small balls out of the dough.
  • Put the balls onto skewers and brush them completely with oil.
  • Cook the skewers on the grill for about 5-7 minutes turning frequently. Serve immediately. 

INGREDIENTS

  • 250 grams tofu, cut into very small cubes
  • 150 grams grated cheese
  • 100 grams bread-crumbs
  • 1 onion, peeled and diced
  • 1 clove of garlic, peeled and diced
  • 1 tablespoon chopped herbs
  • 3 teaspoon Sesame oil
  • 1 egg
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Sesame oil for brushing
