Preparation Method :
- Place the pepper on a baking tray with the skin side up and bake it in a preheated oven at 230 °C / 450 °F / Gas mark 7 for about 10 - 15 minutes.
- Allow it to cool and peel of the skin.
- Mince the lamb meat together with one clove of garlic, the onion, the red pepper and the roll.
- Mix the meat mixture with the egg and the spices, shape into 8 rolls and place them lengthways on skewers.
- Grill for about 10 - 12 minutes turning frequently.
- The Sauce: Press the remaining garlic with salt and mix with the yogurt.
- Then add the herbs. Spice the garlic sauce with salt and serve with the skewers.
INGREDIENTS
- 550 grams lamb meat from the loin, washed, dried and cut into large cubes
- 400 grams yogurt
- 2-3 cloves of garlic, peeled
- 1 onion, peeled and coarsely chopped
- 1 soft roll
- 1 red pepper, halved, deseeded
- Paprika powder
- 1 tablespoon chopped, mixed herbs
- 1 egg
- 1 pinch chilli powder
- Salt, to taste
