PEPPERED PRAWNS

Preparation Method :

  • Stir half of the soy sauce with the sherry and the pepper.
  • Add the prawns and let them marinate for half an hour.
  • Take the prawns out of the marinade and put them onto the skewer with spring onions in between each. Brush with oil and grill for 10-12 minutes, turn frequently.
  • Mix the ketchup with the remaining soy sauce with the cornflour and the rice wine. Pour into a saucepan, let it boil.
  • Serve it as a sauce with the prawns. Garnish the whole dish with herbs. 

INGREDIENTS

  • 50 ml rice wine
  • 50 grams tomato ketchup
  • 3 teaspoon Sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon cornflour
  • 50 ml soy sauce
  • 50 ml sherry
  • 12 - 14 king prawns, shelled, deveined
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 4-5 spring onions, washed and cut into quarters
  • Herbs for garnishing
