KING PRAWNS WITH AIOLI

Preparation Method :

  • Mix the onion together with the mustard powder, salt, peanut oil, lemon juice and the herbs to make a marinade.
  • Marinate the prawns into the onion, herb mixture for about 2-3 hours.
  • Crumble the toast bread and puree with the milk and two raw eggs.
  • Put the diced eggs and the chopped garlic into the mixer as well and puree until creamy. Add the olive oil slowly with the machine running.
  • Spice the Aioli with salt, pepper, dill and mustard.
  • Take the king prawns out of the marinade, shake off the excess liquid and grill at least for 5 minutes. Serve the prawns with the Aioli.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 kg king prawns, washed, cut into the shell on the back and the intestine discarded
  • 100 ml peanut oil
  • 2 eggs, hard boiled, peeled and diced
  • 1 onion, peeled and diced
  • 1 teaspoon mustard powder
  • 50 ml lemon juice
  • 3 teaspoon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon chopped herbs
  • 100 grams toast bread without the crust
  • 2 tablespoon chopped dill
  • 100 ml milk
  • 9 cloves of garlic, peeled and pressed
  • 500 ml olive oil
  • 2 eggs
  • Salt and Pepper, to taste
