MINCED TURKEY LIVERS IN PLUM SAUCE

Preparation Method :

  • Mix the spice powder with the sauce and pour it over the liver. Marinate the liver for about half an hour.
  • Shake off the excess liquid from the liver and fry it in the oil on both sides.
  • Add the lychees and fry everything together for about 8-10 minutes. Then combine both into a fine puree.
  • Spread the liver puree on top of the toasted bread. Wrap with bacon and grill all of them until they are crisp and brown.
  • Spice the plum sauce with the ginger, lemon juice and pepper and arrange the pieces of liver on it. Garnish with the mint and serve.

INGREDIENTS

  • 300 grams turkey liver, washed and dried
  • 150 grams streaky bacon, Cut into slices
  • 2 teaspoon Chinese mixed-spices
  • 2 tablespoon Hoisin sauce
  • 50 grams plum sauce
  • 10 - 12 lychees, peeled and stoned
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame oil
  • 50 ml lemon juice
  • 8 slices of toast bread, quatered
  • 1 inch ginger root, Peeled and chopped
  • Pepper
  • Mint for garnishing
