DOUBLE VENISON STEAK WITH WILD HERBS

Serves :

Preparation Time :
20 minutes

Cooking Time :
15 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Mix the cheese with the herbs. Lay out the venison fillets on the worktop.
  • Distribute the mixture of cheese and herbs among 4 of the venison slices.
  • Press the other 4 slices on top. Wrap a slice of bacon around every double steak and bind it together with kitchen twine.
  • Spread oil over the venison steaks and grill for about 5-7 minutes on each side. After grilling, spice with the game spices and serve immediately. 

INGREDIENTS

  • 750 grams venison fillet, washed, dried and cut into 8 slices
  • 150 grams grated cheese
  • 100 grams mixed wild herbs, washed, dried and finely chopped
  • 1 box of cress
  • 4 slices of streaky bacon, washed and dried
  • 2 tablespoon Cooking oil
  • Game spices, to taste
