GOURMET MACKEREL

Preparation Method :

  • Sprinkle the mackerels with salt and lemon juice. Allow them stand for about 10 - 15 minutes.
  • Heat the oil and add the onions, followed by the tomato, sauté for about 3-5 minutes.
  • Add the herbs to the mixture of tomatoes and onions. Stuff the mackerels with the mixture. Close and secure the opening with toothpicks.
  • Grill the incised mackerel for about 5-7 minutes on each side.
  • The Sauce: Mix the yogurt, sour cream and the almonds. Add salt and pepper, serve with the mackerel.

INGREDIENTS

  • 750 grams fresh, ready to cook mackerels, washed, dried and incised
  • 400 grams yogurt
  • 250 grams tomatoes, cut cross, peeled, deseeded and cut into cubes
  • 150 grams onions, peeled and diced
  • 2 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 3 teaspoon Sesame oil
  • 1 bundle of dill, chives and chervils, washed, dried and finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoon sour cream
  • 2 tablespoon chopped almonds
  • Pepper and Salt, to taste
