Preparation Method :
- Beat butter and sifted icing sugar in medium bowl until smooth, stir in sifted flours. Divide the mixture into equal half.
- Stir combined coffee and water into half fo the mixture and blended sifted cocoa and extra water into remaining half.
- Spoon coffee mixture carefully into 1 side of the piping bag fitted with medium fluted tube.
- Spoon cocoa mixture into the other side of piping bag. Pipe medium lengths of mixture on greased oven trays.
- Bake in moderate oven about 10 - 12 minutes or until firm. Cool on wire racks. Sandwich biscuits with coffee filling. Serve dusted with extra sifted icing sugar.
- Coffee Filling: Dissolve coffee in milk, cool. Beat butter, coffee mixture and sifted sugar in small bowl until pale in colour.

- 2 teaspoons dry instant coffee
- 2 tablespoons hot water
- 250 grams butter
- 50 grams icing sugar mixture
- 150 grams plain flour
- 150 grams cornflour
- 1 tablespoon cocoa
Coffee Filling
- 100 grams icing sugar mixture
- 2 teaspoon dry instant coffee
- 3 tablespoon butter
- 1 tablespoon hot milk
