SANDWICHED PEAS

- Heat little oil in a pan. When hot add in the onions and green chilies. Cook till transparent.
- Add peas, jeera powder, chilli and salt. Cover and cook until done. Add little water if needed. Remove from heat. Mash roughly.
- Add grated paneer and mix well. Adjust seasonings.
- Spread a layer of pea mix on the unbuttered side of 4 slices.
- Cover with the remaining slices with the buttered side outside. Press firmly. Toast in a sandwich toaster. Serve hot.
INGREDIENTS
- 1 green chili - deseeded and chopped finely
- ½ teaspoon roasted jeera powder
- ½ teaspoon chili powder
- 50 grams grated paneer
- 1 onion - chopped finely
- 8 slices bread - lightly buttered
- 75 grams peas - shelled
- Salt to taste
