Preparation Method :
- Cut two circles from each slice of white and brown bread.
- Butter all circles. Spread jam on two brown circles and cover each brown circle with a white circle.
- Make round sandwiches of white and brown bread with chutney and cheese spread. Keep it aside.
- Sprinkle the finely cut lettuce or cabbage on a platter.
- Place the sandwiches with the white side up, on the bed of cabbage or lettuce, leaving space between one another.
- Arrange a few shreds of finely grated carrot on the top to make the hair, then ½ of a glace cherry to make the nose.
- Arrange tiny squares of green capsicum for the eyes. A thick strip for the mouth.
- Cut deep V's from the centre of a small tomato or red radish and gently pull apart to make roses.
- Place small radish roses in between the faces, on the lettuce or cabbage bed.

- 6 slices of brown bread
- 6 slices of white bread - cut into circles
- Butter - to spread

- 2 tablespoon mint chutney
- 2 tablespoon jam (any flavour)
- 2 tablespoon cheese spread
Faces
- 1 carrot - finely grated
- ¼ capsicum - cut into tiny squares
- 6 glace cherries - cut into half
- A firm tomato - cut into small thick strips
Garnishing
- Few lettuce or cabbage leaves - cut into fine strips
- 4 small red radish or small firm tomatoes - cut into flowers
