JUMBO SANDWICH

Preparation Method :

  • Slightly scoop out both the bread pieces, leaving a border of 1" all around to from a boat.
  • Soften butter and apply to the scooped out surface and the border of both the boats.
  • Heat oil in a pan and add onions and fry for few minutes.
  • Add capsicums, stir for a minute.
  • Add salt, pepper and chili sauce. Remove from fire.
  • Add baked beans. Mix well.
  • Pile this filling into the scooped out hollows of the French loaf.
  • Sprinkle grated cheese and some coriander leaves on the top.
  • Grill for 3 minutes till the cheese melts slightly. Serve hot.

INGREDIENTS

  • 250 grams baked beans
  • 2 tablespoon cooking oil
  • 2 onions - chopped finely
  • 1 capsicum - chopped finely
  • 1 French loaf or cheese loaf - cut into two horizontally
  • 3 tablespoon butter - softened
  • ½ teaspoon chili sauce
  • 2 tablespoon coriander leaves - cut finely
  • 50 grams cheese - grated
  • Salt, pepper - to taste
